Vanessa Garza

My name is Vanessa Garza and I am so excited to be the Assistant Principal Intern this year at Copperfield Elementary. This is my 9th year here at Copperfield, and my 19th year of education. I can't wait to serve the students and families at Copperfield this year. My experience includes being a classroom teacher in grades Kinder-Fourth, an RTI intervention teacher in reading and math and most recently an Academic Trainer. I received my Bachelor of Arts degree in Interdisciplinary studies from University of Texas in San Antonio. 

On a personal note, I enjoy traveling with my family and reading books.  I have been married to my husband for 20 years and we have 2 adult children Christian and Alex.
